"Little Did I know...until I knew!"

Updated: Feb 8

We will be having some fun with this series weekly releasing new content every Thursday. Coaching solutions is my favorite hobby but ultimately it's the questions I enjoy asking that gets you to fine tune your solutions. There is no reason to strive to have it my way... you need YOUR way, so let's find it together!

Learning is a complex and multi-faceted process that involves several factors. Generally, it can be understood as the acquisition of knowledge, skills, attitudes, or values through experience, study, or education. So how do we know until we know? Hence my name for this little project, "Little did I know."

How many ways do you learn as listed below? How awesome would it be to incorporate ALL learning styles? That, my friend, could be your SUPER power!

There are several ways in which we learn, including:

  1. Observational learning: We learn by observing the behavior of others and the consequences of that behavior.

  2. Trial and error: We learn by trying new things and making mistakes, and then adjusting our behavior based on the outcomes of those trials.

  3. Conditioning: We learn through classical and operant conditioning, where certain stimuli are associated with specific responses.

  4. Practice: We learn by repeating tasks and experiences, leading to improved performance and deeper understanding.

  5. Feedback: We learn by receiving feedback on our performance, which helps us to identify our strengths and weaknesses and adjust our behavior accordingly.

  6. Instruction: We learn by being taught new information or skills through formal or informal teaching methods.

  7. Reflection: We learn by reflecting on our experiences and evaluating our own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

These are just a few examples of the many ways in which we can learn. The specific learning process may vary depending on the individual, the type of learning experience, and the outcome desired.
